After some trial and error, here is the latest photo setup I have come up with:
This is in front of a north-facing window in a room with neutral colored walls.
I have only had time for two or three photo sessions since the workshop, but after an initial learning curve, they have gone well and I am feeling much more creative and in control of the photography process. I ALMOST look forward to them.
The picture of the setup shows the “background sandwich” which makes the routine of photographing much more efficient. With this setup I get a gray background, a white background, and a linen background without too much rearranging.
I am looking forward to trying to add different background colors in Photoshop or Lightroom, but that is another post.
